Asylum: Humanitarian Grant from Liberia

In a case referred by CLINIC and handled with the assistance of the UCLA School of Law El Centro Asylum Law Clinic, Hill, Piibe & Villegas successfully argued before the Board of Immigration Appeals that the client deserved a humanitarian grant of asylum after enduring atrocities as a small child in the civil war; the case was granted even though the Judge determined that Liberia was a safe country nowadays.
