Before scheduling a consultation with Hill, Piibe & Villegas, we recommend you visit the comprehensive information available on the USCIS website, www.uscis.gov, or on the State Department website, www.state.gov. These websites answer many questions about immigration law and how to qualify and apply for benefits.

If you desire a consultation with Hill, Piibe & Villegas, please review the information below to select the most appropriate type for the questions you have. All consultations are kept confidential. Please note that a consultation does not bind Hill, Piibe & Villegas as your attorneys, or to represent you before the Immigration Service or any courts. A separate written agreement must be entered into if you desire any legal services.

If you have a question about our fees, or whether we handle your type of case, please fill out and email us the Website Questionnaire. We will respond to you via e-mail.

Please select the type of consultation that would be most appropriate for your needs:

In-person E-mail By telephone

In-person consultation

In-person consultations are available at either the Los Angeles or West Covina location.

If you are detained or otherwise cannot come to the appointment in person, you may send a friend or family member with authorization to speak on your behalf.

Important: please bring all your immigration and criminal record documents to the appointment

Cost:

  1. Basic evaluation: FREE for a 30-minute case evaluation–you will learn whether HP&V can help you with our services, and learn about our fees. If we feel that we cannot help you, then you will not have paid to learn this. Consultations lasting longer than 30 minutes will be charged-- the average consultation is completed within 30 minutes and there is plenty of time. If you desire information beyond the basic evaluation, then you will be charged for an in-depth consultation, see below.
  2. In-depth consultation: $250 per hour. If you are seeking information beyond a basic case evaluation, or if further research is necessary (such as a detailed inquiry into whether you qualify for an immigration benefit), or if you are looking for instructions on how to apply for a benefit, then this consultation fee will apply–you will be advised if your questions require an in-depth consultation, and you will not be charged unless you agree to the consultation fee.

If you retain Hill, Piibe & Villegas for further services, the consultation fee will be credited toward our fees.
